Energizing a Community has sponsored many presentations for the community on various topics relating to energy efficiency, energy conservation, and renewable energy from wood stove safety, energy audits, and renewable energy alternatives.
Community members identified educational priorities and then organized and conducted the following 9 workshops:
- Financing conservation improvements
- Community owned energy facilities
- Energy conservation for local businesses
- Home energy assessment training
- Home heating safety
- Home winter weatherization clinics
- Community owned wind power
- Improving transportation efficiencies and choices
- Solar systems for homes and businesses
